Learn the latest about wildfire preparedness and prevention, grab a free BBQ lunch, and help us celebrate OFSC’s sixth anniversary at our Community Barbecue and Wildfire Preparedness Fair at the Meeting Hall on May 16. 

Produced in partnership with the Encinitas Fire Department, this unforgettable event will feature a free barbecue lunch, courtesy of the fire department, and cake courtesy of OFSC, plus booths (with swag) from a host of agencies and nonprofits, and vendors specializing in wildfire preparedness and prevention products and services. There will be an opportunity drawing and Mystery Instant Win game, and CAL-FIRE’s mascot, Captain Cal, will put in an appearance, posing for photos with young, old and everyone in between.
